Deeper (Part 1)

written by Timothy Robinson & Mary-Lou Reed

Do we go round again
Doing the same old thing again
Or do you wanna go Deeper?

The honeymoon is over, the blessing is fulfilled
And lately I'm feeling like the harmony I've killed
All the loveless choices are sneering in my face
When you call me on I'm desperate to get out of this place
Or will I go deeper?

The war it has been raging the dark against the light
The dark although it has its day resists with all its might
In the next dimension the battleground is seen
We are just the outplay and the war goes on within
Well I know it sounds like fiction, or maybe superstition
In ignorance we're unaware of the need for a decision
To go deeper

So many times before I've turned away
Couldn't accept that I chose it to be this way
But now my brothers are calling and love is in their eyes
They are lighting the way, the way they live their lives
They show me I can go deeper...

Love is always calling and waiting patiently
Will we let old fears and guilt and shame cloud the truth we see?
Or is it finally time to give away all that we've held onto?
Give up the fight lay down our arms surrender to our inner hearts.
And go deeper

Into love and who we are.
