I was holding back love for way way too long

Waitin’ for a safe place to sing my lover’s song

Seems we often save our love up for a special one

But there’s way too much and love don’t choose its there for everyone

 

So I’m setting off love bombs everywhere I go

I set one off in Safeway with the check out chick

She passed it to the next guy its spreading quick

A love bomb connection is open and true

Offering reflection let ‘em see into you

Your an inspiration with everything you bring

When we let our guard down we all want the same thing

 

Go set off some love bombs anywhere you go

You could drop one on a stranger with a little smile

Or talkin’ to your neighbour for a little while

 

Spread it around take it to town Oh! Let it out

Don’t hold it back there isn’t a lack ,don’t have a doubt

 

Sitting on my sofa watching some TV

I’m not lost in that flat box, I’m right there with me

I’m sitting with my best friend the one who’s always there

I’m there for me, I’ll always be, I simply choose to care
